About Us

Our passion for creating delectable traditional southern barbecue started with cooking for friends and family. We were encouraged with each party or event to explore catering professionally. I always assumed people were just being polite by saying, "your barbecue is the best I've ever had", until my friend and Hutto Centennial producer asked us to cook at that event as a food vendor. That event inspired us to start this new venture. 

It has taken us 20+ years to perfect our seasoning and hone our barbecuing technique to produce the ultimate taste sensation. My staff and I are intensely passionate about pleasing you and your guests on your special day.

While out driving around with my wife, just visiting small towns, we stopped off at the pig pen BBQ in Dripping Springs, TX, the staff is great, and the prices are fair. The food is so good we left with a full belly and content. Very nice and quaint place to eat. They greeted us like a local, which was nice. If you're out and about in Dripping Springs, Texas, this is a must-stop and eat.

Run!!! Don't walk!!! Best BBQ I have ever had. Period. I flew into Austin to see a friend, and she took me to the Pig Pen for lunch; it was our first stop, and it set the bar real high. It was a Friday -so we had the Texas Sized Beef Rib with a side of baked potato salad and jalapeño Mac N Cheese. The baked potato salad was amazing! But folks, Bill (the owner) killed it with that beef rib!!! The first bite took our breath away, no joke… (yeah… that's good)
